Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO)

Applying for PSEO

To learn more about PSEO options, you may CLICK HERE to visit the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) PSEO website.

  1. Is PSEO right for me? Things to consider when considering PSEO
  2. Review the MDE’s PSEO Reference Guide about Post-Secondary Options in Minnesota, including information which students qualify (Page 8). If a student meets the outlined MDE requirements, they are eligible to apply for PSEO.
  3. Prior to PSEO enrollment, families must review SPCPA’s PSEO Course Registration Policies and Procedures
  4. After completing the above steps, make an appointment to meet with the Student Achievement Coordinator. As there are many options for college and university courses, we want to help you find the best fit for your schedule, graduation requirements, and interests.
  5. Once you have selected the PSEO courses you would like to participate in, families must complete the 2018-2019 PSEO Registration Form for each semester and submit this form to the college or university where the student will be attending these classes.
  6. Students are required to submit a copy of their PSEO schedule to their advisor before the start of the semester.
