Welcome Back!

Dear SPCPA Students & Families — WELCOME BACK!

It was great to welcome back students for the first day of hybrid learning. Check out Facebook for pictures from today. We also enjoyed connecting virtually with our students doing 100% distance learning and look forward to another first day of school for our second group of hybrid students tomorrow. It is definitely not a “typical” first day for our school community, but the excitement and energy was still obvious.

The extra communication and work from everyone in our community that went into making this day possible is greatly appreciated. We know SPCPA has an amazing staff, but they really went above and beyond over the past 18 days to prepare for the start of the school year. Take the time to thank a staff member this week if you can — I know they will appreciate it! We are all in this together — We will take each day as it comes and continually do our best to maintain a safe learning and work environment for everyone while continuing to take the time to honor the work of those in our community.

We must all do our part to support being able to offer hybrid learning models, so please be sure that students and family members are self-monitoring for symptoms daily before students leave for school. Staff will do the same.

You can refer to page 7 of the COVID-19 Preparedness Plan for Students & Families for more information on self-monitoring for illness.

Thank you for your continued investment in our school community. We look forward to another, albeit unique, school year!

Best,

Callie Jacobs, Ed.D.
